Throughout his career, he has been actively engaged in a mixture of basic and clinical research and teaching, directed at improving the understanding and management of disease.
Dr. Anderson was Professor of Endocrinology at the University of Manchester (1986-1991) and Professor of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 1991 to 1994. He was made Honorary Visiting Professor of Medicine and Clinical Endocrinology at the University of Manchester, UK, in 1995. From 1994 to 2005 he ran a private medical practice in Central, Hong Kong, with his wife Jenny, and he still consults in Hong Kong.
Dr. Bruce Anderson, Producer, Cameraman and Editor
BSc, MB, ChB
Having completed his medical degree in 1992, Bruce practiced medicine briefly before moving into TV production with Leo Burnett Advertising in London.
Bruce is the cameraman and editor, traveling with David to locations around the world, filming real-life cases of medical conditions rarely seen by doctors practising in the west. Bruce also films on location in hospitals and other clinical settings in HK and the UK.
Bruce therefore brings a unique blend of skills to the editing suite - knowing exactly what is and isn't necessary for creating a clear presentation of the medical facts in a compelling way.
